Yeah. You should hear her egg song, can't mistake it for anyone else![]()
Aw.
I'm guessing she's loud? XD My girls don't sing the egg song anymore; they just let the egg fall out, then they stare at it and walk away.

Shannon, I talk bad a about her once and she has to go prove that she's not a lazy slacker![]()

And here's why I didn't know she was laying, since she has a pea comb I've been thinking she would lay blue eggs but she lays a very light brown egg.

She knew we were talking about her!
(She's beautiful.

That's hilarious!![]()

Yeah, they usually lay blue or green eggs (right?), so it's unexpected that she laid a lovely little light brown egg.![]()
She is pretty. Yeah. She is pretty.
Yeah usaully they do though brown eggs aren't uncommon.
Now assuming she does carry the blue egg gene but just doesn't show it then if I breed her to Barney or Chester (assuming they carry one or more genes for blue eggs) then about 50% (or more if Barney and Chester carry two genes for it) of the offspring in theory "should" lay blue eggs. It would be a good way to see if they carry the gene.

Rainbow eggs!!
Wow, that's really cool. *-*
I honestly can't wait until you breed them, because I want to know how the chicks turn out!![]()
