About 3 weeks ago I ordered some SQ silkie eggs from Mountaintopsilkies through the BYC. Well the wonderful post office "lost" my package for about 5 additional days and during a winter storm here. When I finally found my package, the eggs were in good condition. I put them in the bator and tried to wait patiently... well unfortunately nothing happened. I had been keeping mts up to date through out all of this ordeal. I definately don't think anything was wrong with the eggs that were sent to me, I think the weather and the fact that the USPS took forever, was the reason behind the eggs failing to thrive. Anyway, mountaintopsilkies was so nice and sent out another box of eggs this weekend, at no charge, just because she felt sorry for me. Isn't that sooooo NICE?
I just wanted to let everyone here know what a great person she is! I have been so excited about getting some of her eggs that I would have gladly paid for a new batch, I never intended for her to replace the batch for FREE!
