Mouse Majic and Peppermint

I hear that Lemon Balm (dried) helps to keep mice away, and bugs. I have a big bush of lemon balm, so I dried it and put it in the chicken coop.

I also have Spearmint, Orangemint, and Peppermint planted. I love it!

hmmm - I just bought a few different kinds of mint but do have a nice sized crop of the lemon balm.

I'm definitely going to plant some in the barn - maybe a little of each! I know I'll have to protect it from the birds though.

...and where I live, I've got plenty of room and prefer the 'invasive' type plants like mint.
