Hi all
I was holding my, almost 1 year old barred rock and noticed she was breathing through her mouth. I've never noticed her doing this before and I hold her often. She seems normal otherwise. The birds all free range during the day, so I dont know if she has diarrhea or not. it's been cold and rainy the last few days (by cold I mean into the low 40's at night- high 50s during the day) and the backyard is a swamp land from the rain. We have one other hen and 2 ducks, other than crows and small wild birds (finches, sparrows, etc) they don't have any exposure to other animals. I didn't notice the other animals mouth breathing, though I did not quietly hold them.

is this something i should worry about? I'm going to keep an eye on it, obviously, but should I do something immediately before it gets worse?

Thank you!
