Moved broody hen, now won't sit on eggs, please help!

You said that the people you got them from moved to Colorado. Where at?

The reason I asked the question about your friends moving is I'm in CO and my daughter got a new girl in her class this week and she is from Iowa.

Oh, they moved to the Denver area, but they have 3 sons and no daughters, so I guess it isn't them! Their sons are 16, 13 and 7.

nhnaana - I think you are right about the barred rock because one of the roos is a barred rock. It could be any number of hens though, because there are no pure barred rock hens in the flock. So they are all mixes of some sort.

I wonder if the chick from the khaki color egg might be a golden laced wyandotte. There is one of the hens that looks like that kind of golden laced style. Of course, I still don't know what the roo was, since there were 5 roos.
