Moved to a new coop

It all looks great. So how loud is it when they are all in there barking and buckwheating? When you are outside it must deaden the sound pretty good thou.
It can get pretty loud when they all get worked up! Thankfully our guineas are usually pretty quiet as far as guineas go. Most people don’t know we have them till they see them. Even then I think most people think they are wild fowl passing through😆 We put up a sign this past week so delivery drivers would know they are pets.

The chicken coop is an identical in size grain bin. It’s just located on the other side of the yard.
This is the chicken coop(before we added the poo-poo tarp to the roost)

The adult roost for the guineas?
This is their roost before I put the chicken wire on it for the babies to go underneath.

So far the adult guineas don’t like the chicken wire and are sleeping on the floor:/ I hope they can get passed its newness and start using it again. Otherwise they will just have to wait till these guys are let out to get their roost back. Ugh.
On a better note, I did not see any pecking at the chicken wire. The adults just went about their business eating, drinking, and settling down for the night. I hope that’s a good sign!
Your chickens are so funny!!! Our guineas used to be in a divided half of our chicken coop, so it has high 6 ft roosts. It’s funny to see the hens using those... It’s more the adventurous youngsters who like the high roosts. What’s the plywood box with the waterer?

As for temperature, I’m amazed that you can make that work with the windows! Really nice coop idea!

Thanks!
The windows really are the saving grace temp wise. Haha.
That is a brooder. The top Has 4” open space on three sides for ventilation. I’m thinking of opening more up though. It was the winter box we made for the guineas last year. We hung a heat lamp inside to give them a warm place to sleep.
Right now I have some 4wk old chicks in there. I need them to hurry up and get big enough to let out. My run has pretty big spacing between the bars.

I need to put one of those up by the road-mb that wld discourage hit n runs. I do have one ordered that says "beware of small raptors" for their coop. I'd like to have fun w/the coop like chicken owners do but there's not much out there for guineas. As for visitors and such, a ups guy actually stopped his truck in the road one day last yr while we were out playing with them. Many think they're turkeys for some reason. I don't see it. 🤪

I don’t see it either. Haha. They do not look like turkeys.
I only have two guinea signs right now. The guinea crossing and this one on their coop door.

And the next group that will go out. Week and a half old keets I hatched. I didn’t plan on keeping them, but when only 5 out of 8 hatched we just couldn’t sell so few to someone. So hubby said to keep them. I won’t argue 😉

Aw- I just love their blue eyes! Come to think of it..I don't think my 2 have blue eyes. They're tucked in for the night, I'll look again tomorrow. 1 has taken to perching on my shoulder and going to sleep, making the grans laugh when it snuggles under my hair.
