movement in the egg

What day can you expect to see movement inside the egg when candling?

you should see something by day five, but i always wait till day 10 to candle because you can see real good then and know for sure if they are growing like they should

I have seen slight movement in day 3-4 with light eggs - and beating hearts! It's the sweetest thing!

Depends a little on light or dark eggs. I have dark brown and could not see much till day 9 or 10.

oh.. I remember this one egg, it was around 12 days I think maybe 14 and I was candling when the chick put his foot on the side of the egg, I could see it SO clearly! It really was just too coooool
