MOVING A FLOCK OF BANTIES - HOW LONG SHOULD WE KEEP THEM COOPED?

We are very near the day of taking possession of 24 Bantams that are about 10 months old. Should we keep them cooped for awhile and, if so, how long before we let them out in the run? They have been used to running free throughout the day at their current home.

We usually coop everyone for a week. And expect to have to go find stragglers and put them in the coop at dusk for up to a week after you start letting them out.
