Thats a great idea! I was worried they might get too hot in the dog crate too...its only in the60's here, but the coop gets SUPER hot, even though its in the shade....also have fans and an AC unit in there, but its still really warm! I like the idea of an area rather than the crate...thank you!How big is your coop? Is it big enough where you could place some wire up and they could stay in an area inside the coop? That way the other ones would get used to them, it might take two or three weeks, but it would be devastating if something happened.
