Well, I'm up in Northern IL between Rockford and Freeport... so you'll probably traveling too far south but when you get to Illinois run from Dac... unless you want 2 free cats as hitchhikers.
Owensboro is in Daviess (pronouned "Davis") county, which is west of Louisville, right up on the Ohio river. It's the BBQ capital of the world, ya know.
Owen Electric is in Owenton...the Owen county seat. Owen county is adjacent to Scott on the NW side..
Neither of which are to be confused with Owingsville, which is East on I-64 in Bath county.
Besides all that...how'd you get on Owen RECC in Sadieville?!? Most of Sadieville was on Harrison RECC when my zip was still 40370.. Now, if you were to drive from Sadieville to Owenton to pay your electric bill (which I don't advise..
) there's a fair to middlin' chance that you'd go right by my house.
Although...you could always stop of KY227 at Elk Creek Vineyards for a high-falutin' lunch on the way back. I've never been there, but I hear it's really nice.. Closest I've been was drooling a time or two driving past it.

Well dayum...see I told ya I would get lost. I am gonna be a mess for awhile. There are only several places that are in Kentucky that I can find with eyes closed....The Kentucky Horse Park, Claibourne Farms and my MIL house. I will be driving around with a road map everywhere I go. Re: how did I get them...no idea. I know that if you are going north on 75 from Georgetown that the "town" of Sadieville is east of the interstate and we are west of it. Maybe that has something to do with it.
I have to drive to Owenton and 2 places in Geoorgetown when we get there....we have to sign paperwork for the electric, the water, the propane and I forget who else....I have a list. LOL Why do you not advise driving to Owenton? I have a conceal carry so I can travel armed if necessary hahahahaha or is it that you worry for me getting lost?

Makes sense, as being in sorta the NW corner of the county puts you probably closer to Owen than Harrison.. Or, hey, maybe Owen bought Harrison..I dunno.

Neither...just trying to save you a long, disappointing trip to nowheresville..
Ya know, if you're on the West side of the interstate, there really couldn't be much more than about 5mi between us as the crow flies. I can make all three of the northernmost I-75 exits in probably 15min or less.
Something I just thought of... You'll officially be a Kentuckian by the time the Cats win the NCAA tournament....which they WILL do.
If you really wanna fit in, just greet everybody with "Go big blue!" or "How 'bout them cats?!?!!!" You'll make a lot of friends quickly that way.
