I need to move my 14 adolescent (2 months old) Guinea keets from their brooder coop to a coop that will be more suited for winter.
The keets are wild little things, not tame at all.
Does anyone have best tips on how to capture the little buggers so that I can move them?

I used a pet taxi and caught as many as I could then transferred

I use a net - fabric netting. As soon as you nab one, get the head of the net down flat on the ground or they wiggle out!
Good luck!

thanks guys, I will deploy the net and cat crate. I can feel a new Guinea adventure will unfold.
They are so fast lol

I have used my husband's fishing net for the small guineas. A large bird net for the adults. Most of the time I just get the little guineas to all pile into a corner of the brooder and catch them one at a time. I then tuck them into my coat or shirt and talk quietly to them while carrying them to the new coop. Once in a while I'm lucky enough to catch and carry two at a time.
