So a short story... I finished building my 2nd coop and run about 3 weeks ago. I moved all my chickens except one broody hen. Right or wrong I didn't want to disturb her so she could be more comfortable where she set up shop.
Three weeks later she is by herself with two chicks in the old run. I'm curious how I should go about introducing her with chicks back into the flock. I was going to just toss her into the coop and try to monitor very closely. My thought was to do this at night once everyone was sleeping.
How would you go about doing this?
