So we’ve decided to move our currrent run in anticipation for our final brood to go outside.
Any tips for us to anticipate the move? We will have six ducks and about 20 chickens (Bantams and standards).
The plan is to move our two coops and for them together with a new extension to help give them all “indoor” space.
We are also going to dig a small pond/water feature for the ducks and a smaller pool for drinking for all.
We will be fencing the run and putting guarding below our existing fence to ward off digging predators. We also want to put in a tree in one corner for shade. (Any thoughts on a good fast growing tree??)
Other than that, we are still in the planning phase as our chicks are just under a week old, so we have time.
