Wow, thus is a huge undertaking. Good luck organising everything. And what comes after it of course.

Did you fall in love with the land and surroundings to retire? Or are you planning to start a BY farm of other business in Ireland?

I remember moving my farm 100 miles. It took several trips. Dogs, chickens, fish, birds, and horses. It took several trips and the horses were last to move.

…I used to have two rabbits, one called Stu and the other called Pye

I have not been good at keeping this updated, oops

Anyway we just bought a caravan!!!!!! (We had a change of plans from the shepereds hut)
Well we put a deposit down for the caravan and are picking it up on the 11th

On the 24th of February we exchanged!!!
We are moving by the end of the month and everything seems to be lineing up so hopefully we won't be homeless

Because of bird flu my duckies will be going to stay at our friend's house
For simplicity my rabbits will be staying at my aunts
Horses will be going into livery foe a week and then come over
We will be travelling with 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 guinea-pigs and marble the bunny

I am freaking out. Its just so much to process . I have cried a few times already and I am sure I will cry some more

I fell in love with the land but I am a bit young to retire (teenage still)
We are planning on starting a glamping site.

It's my parents decision but I am on board

I tried to get my 2 hens from uk to france (admittedly 20 years ago) and ended up having a fight with DEFRA as ‘chickens are not considered to be pets madam’ (I will never forget that patronising…man)
He did say that I could take them if I had more than 1000 !

Oh deary me!!! You have my TOTAL understanding about the &^(&*( French bureaucracy!!! Currently involved in numerous paperwork funtimes!! Where in France are you? That's the best excuse for getting a few more girls I've ever heard
