The weather in Iowa is just settling down, and the baby chickens have made their way outside! I have a coop that is attached to the run, so I just put them in their run and they have been very happy so far… or I thought so! I have put them in the coop before and they have found their way to the run, but I haven't seen any of them try to go up the ramp into the run… should I be worried? How did you teach your chicks to go into the coop? Also, since they have been outside I have noticed they each have small peck marks on their beaks… is this just because of a change in environment and they're stressing out? How do I prevent this?

They will learn in time. You can put them on the roost at night by hand for a week or so, and they should gt the idea. It sounds like they are pecking each others' beaks, or perhaps something in their environment is injuring their beaks. I'd spend some time observing to see if I could figure it out.
