the tail of two idiots, my males were fighting so i brought the smaller of the two inside to keep him alive, i brought a female in to keep him company. you may remember how they started nesting before not quite going through with it. .

basically the female is starting to get over bred, her feathers are very ruffled all the time and you can kinda tell shes just getting sick of him. she'll put herself in a corner and just sit down sometimes when he starts harassing her, or run away, yell at him ect...

basically will she be ok if i put her back outside at this point? outside temps are in the 20s at night with some dips into the teens. coup temp never really drops below 35 even when it get into the teens at night. with day time temps in coup usually in the 50s.

will she be ok going back outside?

should i try reintroducing the second male? rearrange everything ect and add him back in? its been 2+ weeks at this point. the male in the pen is very aggressive, even to me. he doesn't attack but he crows and runs around trying to scare me away when i go in to change water/food. its kinda funny, but less so to his little brother when he grabs him and drags him around the coup.

should i cull the male in the pen sense hes being aggressive?
i only raised these guys for eggs, not for meat and am fairly squeamish about killing them, most things iv seen has people just cutting their heads off with a good pair of scissors. is this the quickest and most painless method?

some info

there are 5 females total
and 2 males.
these were the first clutch i hatched out and its to cold for more hatchlings right now
will add more females in 2/3 months

She should be fine with the temperature. She might get picked on at first reintroduction.

A big set of kitchen scissors or handheld hedge clippers will do the trick for culling.
