Hi, I'm expecting mypetchicken order to be shipped June 1st. I've been reading in the past posts about how they use different hatcheries to ship from.

This isn't a big deal to me but I'd feel better knowing where they were coming from. I'm in south eastern Mass.

Will my chicks come from Ohio? (can't remember the name

) or is there one closer that they might use.

Anyone with any experiences with this?

I also don't understand why they don't track them. I thought all shipments this day and age were tracked. I ordered some puzzles from amazon.com last week and I know exactly where they are and that they will arrive tomorrow.

Sorry, had to rant about that

I appreciate anyone input , Thanks!

I ordered from MPC a yr ago. From what I've read, they get their chicks from Meyer Hatchery in Ohio. I'm not sure if any hatchery out there does tracking on their chicks though.

Since the only way to ship live chicks is thru the US postal service and their trackign services is almost non existant the hatcheteries can't offer tracking. I'm sure they would if they could, it would save them answerign all the frantic calls when boxes don't arrive on time.

Ordered eight day olds from MPC delivered May 5. Came from Ohio, I was told they use Meyers also, and were delivered with no problems. You may want to call ahead and alert your local Post Office so they are aware of the chick arrivals. Hope they arrive safetly!

Did you all get an e-mail or any notice from MPC when they shipped out your order? They were suppose to ship some out to me today, but I haven't heard a word. I called the post office to let them know, just in case, but I don't know if I should get the brooder all ready or not.

Thanks,

Amy

I just just arrived from zip code 44866, Polk, Ohio. They are packaged very well with a warming package, some straw like material and some green pasty stuff. I'm not sure what that is. They are all in great shape!

Thanks MPC!!!
