I was wondering if anyone has ever got an EE from MPC that lays white/brown eggs and not blue.green eggs? I knwo that MPC doesnt hatch their owne chicks and gets them from differnt hatcheries but i was just wondering because i didnt want to waist my money on a bird that wont lay the color i need.
I have changed my list and variety a little i now have 1 splash bantam pullet, 1 BCM pullet, 1 white crested blue polish pullet, 1 white silkie, and 1 EE.
Thanks

Every single one of my MPC EE bantams except for one lays a light brown (one of them pinkish) eggs. Only one of them lays a blueish egg. I would order from them again though and you might have better luck with the large EE. I don't know, but its possible. I think you could really end up with anything though, and not just with MPC. With EE, there is no guarantee of egg color.

I got two standard EEs from MPC in August. Both of them started laying at about five and a half months. One lays a very pretty blue egg (still pullet sized but getting bigger), and the other lays a equally attractive blue-green egg, which, after the first one, have all been medium sized.

I received 3 EE's from MPC in August.

The 2 standard EE's lay pretty mint green eggs. One of them even laid a "huge" double yoker already!
The Bantam EE lays a beautiful small blue-green egg almost every day. I noticed that the eggs seem
to get a little darker after sitting in the refrigerator for a few days. I was surprised by this.
