Mr. Feeney is looking for a new companion (or maybe I am?)

Mr. Feeney is my older, loving, docile, sweet gander cross of Emden and Toulouse. He just lost his lady friend, Pennuto, who was 16 years old. I'm in Columbus Ohio and looking for a companion for him. He's alone now except for my two Pekin drakes. I welcome any suggestions.

Will a gander that had a long time partner, accept a new one? Someone on here previously had the same problem but, her geese were a young couple. They tried to get new mate for him and every time they tried he drove it away.
