Mr. Francis gets a bath!

So I came home from college to find my little silkie rooster kinda stinky....so I decided to give him a bath!

It was hilarious and fun, haha. He seemed to enjoy the warm bath but LOVED the blow-drying process! It was so funny. He also enjoyed being able to check himself out on the mirror

Here's the finished product, he's such a handsome (and very supportive!) rooster. His only girlfriend, Violet, is broody and sitting on 7 eggs right now (even though they aren't his because he won't mate with her...) and he loves to sit in his "nest" in the opposite corner of the coop and just watch her. He's so sweet and hilarious!

He is so cute. I had a Showgirl rooster who wouldn't mate with his "roomate" the Showgirl hen. He once jumped on the back of a jumbo Cochin hen, but he didn't seem to know what to do after that.
