Mr. Joy, therapy chicken and all around nice rooster, got some attention from the local paper. They got such a kick out of him they came back to videotape his "spa treatments" prior to nursing home visits.

He's 8 years old and handsome as ever!

Oh my gosh!!! That is the cutest thing EVER!! I can't wait to show that to all my friends who think I'm nuts to have a chicken for a pet. I wondered what Mr. Joy's been up to - so glad he's "alive and kickin'" as my grandmother used to say. Thanks for sharing that!! Hugs and kisses to Mr. Joy!

I met Mr. Joy at the Sleepy Poet one afternoon and he is the sweetest little man!! Waving hi from Charlotte to Mr. Joy and his Mom!!
