Hi there.
We're staying on a farm in the Karoo, South Africa, and their resident peacock has taken to hanging with us every day. I'm wondering if he's lonely, since he's the last of his flock on the farm. I find him looking at his reflection in the windows and making little noises.
Not sure how old he is but I know they're social and live long lives.
He also makes his little "hoot" noise then closes his eyes and nestles down a bit – any idea what he's doing? Unless it's a power nap?
