Mr Weasley's Comb

Can anyone tell if this is just a dry comb or something else? I've put cononut oil on it a few times and was thinking of adding a little tea tree oil in case of fungus.

Looks like a peck wound with some dry skin around it.
I like to use bag balm for things like this!

Is this area getting bigger? If it seems stable, or shrinking, leave it alone.
