Sorry, we have too much sunshine and it interfers w/phone and computer connections so after wasting 6 hours Saturday & Sunday downloading pics, creating a Silkie album and trying to get them posted here, then nothing to show for all that I gave up and went outside, got happy cleaning coops

Tonight, no sunshine and there was all that work! Strange stuff! Anyhoo. Here are photos and I think this one looks exactly like he's saying he's Bronson's son, the way he's standing...(I know its too soon to tell)

I can't ever get all four in a pic at the same time, someone always has something to learn about!

The hens and I screwed up on four...sadly I brought the Blue hen in since she is smaller and she was the one sitting on the eggs most of the time. She was also the one who let acouple eggs get too cold by hopping off the nest to eat at the last when the Buff hen sat religiously. Buff hen and I screwed up when the chicks first began exploring in the coop and got too cold, we lost two but one revived, one of the dark chicks and it doesn't seem to have any ill effects.

They were very interested in their mama hen's shiny eye tonight, pecking at it, and do you see how big her bill is? She never once lost her temper or scolded them, just kept blinking her eye shut and then she'd peck at the towel in front of them to distract them, while talking like a roo does to show something interesting...
