Hi, I am wanting to learn how to raise a pair of swans....can u give me any tips? I have 1 Q:....will the fly away if I have them free ranging at the lake?

They won't fly away if you buy a pinoned pair. Pinioning removes part of the wing tip right after the wing "thumb"feather. It is often done as a young.cygnet and.will keep your swan from flying off and causing trouble.somewhere.else.

I just candled the eggs with a flash light........


1 egg bad.....

2 eggs clear.......

2 eggs dark with air cells...... Yeahhh. ..fingers crossed. First egg was laid Xmas....so this week into next.
