I haven’t yet - should I at this point? I’ve swiped some of the spent shells that were easy to grab. But I’ve not grabbed any chicks yet

So you have several fluffy ones in there. Well, could you try that quick snatch and grab trick and get like two at a time out of there?

You do not need to as they can go up to 72 hours without food/water and they're safe and warm inside there too.

If they are still mostly wet you should leave them in. The others take out if you can.

I know they will be fine if I leave them, I just feel like the remaining eggs are really being disturbed lol with all of the activity in there.

I’m afraid also to try and grab the fluffy ones because I’m afraid I’ll pinch someone’s toe lowering the lid back down

I know im kinda late but if the olive egg wasn't named and hatches could you name them Thorn?

Truth be told, I killed one once doing it. These are Brinsea 64's and the lid is sort of heavy. I lifted up one end, grabbed a couple fluffy ones near that end, and some egg shells, and quickly put the lid down. Little did I know a chick was halfway over the side when I put it down. They usually can't even do that, so I didn't expect to watch for it, but now I do.
