Mucus in chick's eye. Is it infected?

Hello everyone,

I have had my new chicks for a couple of days now, and I noticed that my Easter egger chick had some sort of buildup in her eye that looked like mucus. Some of her muff fluff was stuck to the mucus, so I gently got it unstuck. The mucus is gone now but something still looks off about the eye. She is eating and drinking normally and just as active as the other chicks. Do I need to intervene or should I just try to let it get better on its own? Any help is appreciated!

Eye pictures both with and without mucus:

One of my chicks was like this last batch. I flushed it with saline and applied terramycin twice a day and it cleared up. Now that she's older (8 weeks) and that eye still occasionally seems watery. I haven't figured out why. It doesn't look injured. I think its just very sensitive but she is fine, happy and growing.
