I've had some that had 8 or 10 and by 5 weeks their nursing had the moms starting to get thin enough I'd pull and wean the babies.

My first sow Cookie, who was a Hampshire had 17 babies back in 2013.
It was a long night, and of course she ended up losing 5.
Our vet was amazed.

We have piggy cuddle time about 30 minutes per day +/- ……the piggies hate it
