And they’re a good small homestead pig because they are dual purpose, grow out quickly and more manageable for sustainable meat production/processing.Boris is still in the front pasture……we’ve decided to leave him out there because he along with (mainly the ducks) keep the pasture clean of cow patties. One thing that I’ve learned is that pot bellies are perfectly happy being loner pigs.
We’re going to try breeding her with Ricky (my kunekune boar) but may consider getting another potbelly boar for her in the future.
