Muddy by the chicken door

What can you do about mud in the pasture by the chicken door? They have plenty of pasture, but about 10 feet around the door is a muddy mess. Mulch wouldn't last. I thought about throwing down some pavers, but it would take a lot.

Hi there!
I had the same problem with my coop, all of it was mud around the door. You could try and put boards down so it will cover the mud and the chickens wont make it worse. Is it muddy because of water? You could also try putting their water somewhere else. Hope this helps!

Thanks it's myddy because it's rained every day for 2 weeks and they've removed the grass in that area.

I may throw mulch down?
