I was viciously attacked by a trio of hens today when I was innocently checking their water, they just walked up and started pecking my hand, and considering their size this unprovoked attack was quite unpainful. But they aren’t to blame, I believe my son has incited this violent behavior by hand feeding them. I was always told quail were docile, harmless birds (unless you are a grasshopper), but maybe I need a sign like the national parks warning against cuddling the bison? And Yes, this is a joke!
