On this thread I'm going to post photos and tell stories about my 16 little chicks. I'll manly be doing it for my own purpose, to look back and laugh at the things babies do. But nether the less, feel free to post here too!
I'll start from the very start...
We brought the eggs online, 24 of 'em, 6 Coronation Sussex's, 6 Light Sussex's, 6 Silkies and 6 Plymouth Rocks. The eggs arrived on the 14th of September. We popped them in the incubator and 20 days later the first one hatched!
October the 6th the first Silkie hatched, then 10 chicks on the 7th and another 5 on the 8th. 16 babies in total! Sadly 8 eggs didn't make it... but that was okay, because we now had the same amount of babies as adults!
