It's not actually ancient Greek, I realized. I don't actually know. I was talking to someone else and they said it was ancient Greek, but I think it's modern. I'm using Duolingo, and a copy of the NT in Greek. Je ne sais pas, je suis très stupide.

This is really interesting to me, because I grew up with EVERYTHING having a gender. A chair, the oven, etc. Just something I find really cool about language learning. You can gain real perspective by learning another language

Yeah, inanimate things in English are just ‘it,’ so when I have to figure out the gender of an object in German, I usually just go with the vibe and guess.
