I can never remember which is which, but le livre is book and la livre is pound. (I'm basing that le livre is book based on the sentence above.)

Wait, what?? I guess I haven't gotten to pound yet. And la and le are so very annoying. I always get mixed up on lire and livre.

Today I got to talk to our German neighbor.

We haven’t said pretty much anything except ‘hello,’ but today my brother Whit walked up to her and started saying a bunch of stuff and I walked over and tried to stop him. I told him she only speaks German, and she asked if I speak German in broken English and I was like “ehhh kinda.”
Then she asked what Justus (my other brother) what his name was (wie heißen sie?) and I KNEW WHAT SHE SAID!
I told her his name was Justus and I told her “Ich mag dein garden.” And looked pleasantly surprised and said thank you, and I told her “yeah, es ist sehr schön.”

I’m thinking of switching languages. Portuguese is so hard but at the same time, I want to stick with it. But wondering if Spanish would be a little easier since I took it in middle and high school.

I don’t know if you watch streamers on Twitch, or even Minecraft for matter, but I could name several people who stream on a multilingual server called the Qsmp if you’re interested!
I’ve been watching the English-speakers, but so far there’s English, Spanish, Portuguese and French people.
They’ve actually helped me learn a bit of Spanish and help me stay passionate while learning German (plus the lore they roleplay is pretty epic )!
