It's so simple.
I just noticed that this recipe calls for beef broth... I don't use that I just use water and it comes out perfect.
I serve it over mashed potatoes.

The flavor was awesome. I also added some crushed garlic which the recipe didn't call for. I made sure to be careful on how much because I've heard that pressure cooking enhances the flavors.

I have a Nesco multi function cooker, many years old, but it's one of my favorite kitchen tools.

I will often pressure cook beef or pork roasts for shredded meat sandwiches. Chicken breasts come out tender and juicy too. Vegetable combos, especially cauliflower, broccoli and whole mushrooms, are great too.

Tonight is ham and beans. Didn't pre-soak them so I'm hoping for the best. The recipes I've read said you don't need to, but hey I'm old school.

How'd it turn out? Dry pinto beans come out great in my IP...and they're so quick to make! I make a batch pretty much weekly now.

They turned out great but took longer to cook then they should have, but they were also older beans.

Those are the packets of carrots and potatoes, you are supposed to add them in the gravy at the end. It's supposed to keep them from over cooking.
