I am new to all this, but, I have 2 Pekin ducks aged 12 months, 1 male and 1 female and have been getting one egg a day for about 6 months now. However my male has now lost its curly feather and I am getting 2 eggs instead of 1 - their area is enclosed so on other duck can get in. Either my female is laying 2 (hard shelled eggs) or my male has changed from a Henry to a Henrietta! Have read about others who think their female has changed to male but not his way around - any answers?

Do you have pictures? Has it been consistent two eggs per day? Sometimes a duck or chicken can llay what seems to be two eggs in one day, but that normally just has to do with egg production taking approximately 25 hours, so it stands to reason that one day would appear to have two eggs in it.
