Our first couple of years were great. The chicas have absolutely everything:
free range, fresh garden greens, layena, cracked corn, grit, oyster shell, poultry conditioner.
Nice coop and are locked in from dark to morning.

Since spring we have had multiple problems. Please help us these are our first chickens.

1. Not laying since spring. maybe one egg/hen/per week.
2. soft eggs on top and some fully soft eggs, a few since beginning, has not ceased.
3. 12 chicas and 1 very young rooster (we just got him). Still too young to mate.
4. Some one is EATING the eggs (not him).
5. 3 have really bad feathers, on wings, tails, and top of heads.
6. 1 girl is aggressive, 1 is loud (squacking all the time) (just yelling at me)
7. one girl is crowing.

gosh just too much. We hand raised these and are very pettable (some). We really do like them.
but. we must fix some problems.
Suggestions, please. Dispatch the 2 or 3 that we think are the problems.

we tried golf balls in the laying boxes, should we try again.

thanks, any and all solutions, suggestions and hits appreciated.
