mummy to be

Cuddle away! It can take up to four days for everyone to hatch and sometimes a wee bit longer. So as long as they are cheeping and active let them do their long hard work!

Ok will do. I've just read so many things on here about people thinking they are fine and letting them get on with it and then the next thing they know it's died. But then I know if that happens it may not be strong enough anyway. I can hear the other ones that haven't pipped tapping away.

I know and that has happened to me. I am sure that it will be the next to hatch and then it's gone. However you are right-sometimes assisting helps but most of the time not. And I mean assisting all the way not what you did. I do what you did all the time. How is your one little guy?

Yeh that must really suck. He's doing good thankyou, finally asleep again after much protest when I put him back in the brooder. I've created a monster already! Egg no 2 - ducky seems to have turned around, hoping it's unzipping. Egg no 3 who bled hadn't done a lot, I made the hole a weeny bit bigger to encourage him but he looks super slimy, not dryish like no 2. Is that ok? No 3 and 4 aren't doing a lot. Will try and put some pics up.
