mummy to be

At the moment it's consisting of my sitting behind the counter of a very quiet shop typing to you! It's dead today. Think everyones gone to the beach or is in their gardens. Dont blame them. I'd rather be in my garden too! I was given a lot of garden center vouchers yesterday so im itching to go and spend those, though it will have to wait now until the weekend!

The pond is half full at the moment so they dont use it. We uncovered it, it was filled in with concrete and general rubbish and where they just chucked it all in it's split the fibre glass. So we spent alot of money patching it up and it's still leaking!!! So now we are going to have to buy a pond liner too :(. But when it's water tight there is a pump to go in and also I've found a filter which i still have to buy. But yeah the electrics are a problem for the pump. Not so much the filter as the filter i've seen just hooks up to the pump so the water from that powers it.

What will these companies do with them? Or shouldnt I ask!? Sounds like you'll be having a proper clear out!

How do you use the ginger? Fresh and put it in tea? I used to drink alot of lemon and ginger tea (teabags) but i drank so much of it the only time i have it now is when i have a cold. But I do find mint tea is really good. I love minty things anyway so i dont mind it. Unless i forget about it and its super strong and cold!

I wonder if I should change the name of our thread. It's a bit dated now!

Only 40 mins to go and im free! Then a half hour drive home, quick bath, din dins, duckling cuddles then some scanning italia hopefully!

35 minutes now! Remember watching the clock makes time even slower! Moments like this we learn just how long one minute is! That really sucks about your pond!! We went through several as well but that was cause the ducks kept scratching leaks into it, now we have a big plastic pond that we buried in the ground.I'll have to add that to my to do list, pond filter research. And then there is the constant battle of keeping the area around the pond mud free.

Actually I think the people that but them will keep whatever good stock they want and then take the rest and auction them off to other people, so it's really free animals and free money for them. I am just done with the rabbits, will probably keep my favorite one and I have to many randy drakes and too many roosters.Want the new ducks to have a good intro, you know?

As far as the ginger goes yeah I chew it fresh sometimes but mostly put the dried powder in tea. Also there's this candied ginger that is really good. That's my favorite way to use it but we don't always have that!

Yeah we have that too crystallized ginger. Yum yum. Bit too sweet though. Can't believe you chew it raw, that stuffs strong! Maybe I'll give it a go when I'm desperate!

So you don't even get any money for them!? That's for fair!

Hmm I hadn't thought about them scratching through the liner. Poop maybe we should just get rubberized paint. Ohhhh now I don't know. So yours is just solid plastic, no Liner?

Poor Angus we just found out his mum has breast cancer that's spread into her lymph nodes/glands. He's going up tomorrow to see them. Trouble us they are like a 5 hour drive away in good traffic, up to ten if bad. His dad's really ill too with epilepsy. If anything happens to her I'll no idea what will happen to him. We're all so far from them. Blergh, just when things are going ok for once! Sorry that sounds really selfish.

That's terrible news, I am sorry to hear that. Not to selfish, I know the feeling well, things go good and then slam, all of a sudden bad news pours in. We just have to try and find good where we can. Cancer is a hard thing to deal with, so is epilepsy honestly. I pray for the best outcome for all of you.

Yeah the pond is solid plastic. One of those fish pond frame things. I wouldn't give up on the pond liner quite yet, we were going to use one of those, just found a pond on clearance. They seem to be really tough material. We once used a pool liner and that lasted a couple years. And it was an old recycled children's pool.

Hang in there, you and Angus both. Your front and center on my mind.

Hello! Yeh I'm ok just worried about Angus. He's not showing hodge feels as he doesn't want to upset me and make me I'll but I'm ok. Just wish he'd be honest. Anyway he's gone up there now so I'm alone for a few days. I'm really chuffed, I just got an antique wardrobe for £40! It's beautiful! It's a bit broken on one corner but I can fix it.
