mummy to be

I lied - the 2 we didn't touch have cracked the shell but not the membrane.
Is it normal that the one that hatched has left a load of yellowy gloop in the shell, is it poop?

Is it really a load? Mine usually have had like a shriveled-up yellow gum left over. Dries out quick it's so small.

It's fine it's jumping around all over the other eggs, cheeping frantically and pecking at the sides to get out. It's not doing a good job at drying out as it keeps taking a paddle in the water for humidity (i didn't think that one through very well). Think its trying to help the others out but they're still absorbing. Il put up a pic of the icky shell, hang on

It doesn't look as green as that I think it's bouncing off the towel

Sounds like all is well.. Just enjoy them, don't stress. :)

Edit: TRY. Try not to stress. (who was I kidding??) LOL!

Awwww!!! Congratulations!!! Everything is perfectly normal! No umbilical cord should be there! Is she in the brooder yet or did you decide to wait? I don't wait for mine to dry before I move them. Sounds like it's bonding time! ! ! So very glad all your stress finally paid off a bit!

So I think all the eggs are pipped now? How is the one that bled?

Haha Yeh I'm so stressed it's ridiculous, wish the others would get on with it. Think I need a drink to calm my nerves!
The other two don't look like theyve got alot further, hope they are doing ok. The one that bled is still cheeping and moving but still has the membrane around it. The other one we helped you can see it's bill cheeping away but the membrane Round the edges still seems to have veins working.
Yay I'll take it out and cuddle it and love it and hold it and and and :)
Glad you guys think the shell looks ok. Right I'm going for cuddles!
