If they hatch on Thursday, ship on Saturday and it took three days for the chicks to get here last year (all alive and well) my PO has no one there on Sunday, so I am looking at Monday at the earliest for delivery? I think they should be contacting me about my standing order for June shipment. I think 4 days is too long.

I can't believe they would ship out on a Sat. They will be sitting in a PO somewhere on Sun. Are you sure they are not shipping out on Thurs? That just doesn't seem right.

They cannot hatch on a Thursday and ship on Saturday. According to PO regulations, day old chicks must ship within 24 hours of hatch. I never understood why hatcheries ship over a weekend anyway. Why don't they have the hatches happen on Sunday/Monday for an early week shipment.

they ship over the weekend because the PO mite not deliver on Sun but they still work on sun moving mail. its actually a good time for chicks mail volume is not as high and the planes are not as full

Murray does ship on Sat so they arrive on Monday most of mine hatch on Fri and ship Sat so they are still pushing the age limit.We have had mixed results this year..first order half didn't survive but my second try all came alive and still are doing great.
