Murray McMurray problems anyone else?

They are scheduled to ship either Tuesday or Wednesday - I’ll let you know!
I appreciate it; thank you, and good luck! Maybe it wouldn’t hurt if you popped into your local PO a day or so ahead of time and let them know you’re expecting them and asked them to please contact you immediately upon receiving them.

I have to work Tuesday, but plan to go first thing Wednesday morning. I also have text notifications set with McMurray.

Good idea! I'm sure they’ll be perfectly fine; the weather isn’t too awful either, and people have been purchasing from them for quite some time. McMurray marks their boxes, right? As live animals? I loved this setup that this one lady had for shipping chicks that I purchased some silkies from years ago. She would put hand warmers in there with some scrambled eggs, bedding, and some of the GroGel. She clearly put thought into ensuring their safe arrival.

Did you receive your chicks yet? Was wondering how you made out if you did already get your scheduled order!
The shipped yesterday afternoon, and arrived today! I ran to the post office this morning and the guy said he'd call as soon as they got in, so I was able to pick them up quickly this afternoon. They all are definitely alive and seem healthy, so I'm optimistic.

Yay! What did you end up getting?
This set is an Ameraucana, a Barred Plymouth Rock, a Red Star, a Buff Orpington, a Cuckoo Marans, and a Speckled Sussex. One is unsteady on her feet, so I don't know if she is going to make it, but they've got grow gel in addition to the chick starter, electrolytes in their water and I gave her a little NutruDrench. Not sure there is much more to do, and she may rebound. The rest look good and a couple are crazy fast running around. The 2-week olds in with them don't mind cuddling up with the new girls.

Glad to see your chicks made it safely! I have 25 chicks due to ship this week, and I am beside myself with worry. I am in Kentucky, so pretty close to you. It's awesome you got your chicks the day after they were shipped.

One did die today, at 6 days old, but so have a couple from Rural King. I still am overall pleased with the care taken in getting the, to me quickly. I hope yours do well - let us know!

I'm sorry to hear your chick passed. :( How do you find out what day your chicks will ship? And what time of day did you receive your notification your chicks shipped. I am so stressed over this.
