Hi my Scovy is 5 months old. She's an indoor baby. Last night my dog grabbed her and shook her a bit. K was going after my dog's food. So she was protecting her food. The incident lasted only a few seconds. Teagan made a small puncture under K's left eye. Blood was coming out of her nostrils pretty heavily for about a minute or two. She had bouts of blood for a few hours after the incident. She seemed fine. Maybe a little bit more cuddled up to me. But tonight she threw up 4 times so far. At first I thought it was blow out diarrhea because I didn't see where it came from. The second and third time it was a lot less and seemed more watery than food filled. This happened not long after she got something to drink. Now she is shaking like she's scared. And she's a luttle ruffled. What should I do? What could be wrong?

Can you post a picture of the puncture wound? Also, look her over very well. Feathers hide wounds. The dog may well have caused injuries elsewhere.

Honestly, with the fact that she was attacked by a dog, was bleeding out of her nares for a while, and is now throwing up, she really needs to see a vet. I would call and make an appointment ASAP. A puncture wound in the head is pretty serious.
