I realy should! Is it in your budget to purchase a food scale? I know lots of people think I'm crazy for weighing mine, but what it has taught me is a healthy duckling, chick, peachick, keet, squab, or poult will make daily gains. Sometimes it's only a few grams, but as long as they make daily gains they do okay.
Haha my KC loves fingers!Sugar is like that - she'll cuddle in with me at night, but during the day acts like i'm some big giant with hands that need the fingers bitten and pulled off.
And @Miss Lydia she is eating 5x more food now by mixing it with water. I mightve snuck a little honey in there because shes just sooo cute. Shes more energetic and just looks better!!
Nibbler is doing great. Comes straight to me for a treat and its good! And even the Barred rock hens eat out of my hands now (took 4 months)
Bert is flatlining on us and its so sad. I have to open his bill and put some feed in. he swallows fine. I have him a handfull of feed and handfull or fresh sweetcorn and he wouldnt eat anymore. had to bring a glass of water right to him to drink.
It seams painfull. i was going to give him robax but didnt know if he would die from it (tiny bit of a pill)
