hatcheries are involved now, Im going to order from hoffmans . the family is great. They sell the whites. I spoke with the founder and the son.
Muscovy meat is exported another $$$ issue for us. The judges are telling me ROFLMAO to calm down. And too order muscovy ducklins to my hearts desire .........
I take that as a good sign. Dave and Millie were also great as usual .
Im begining to feel alot better about this. Il tell you what thow if it were not for us little chicken littles crying the sky is falling this would have been alot worse. No one knew until we quacked !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to buy a pair at an auction last night, but a friend (I didn't know I was bidding against him) wanted them a whole lot more than I did. He apparently had the same idea I did.

The nice couple who won the bid promptly arranged with the seller to get me a different pair and I will pick it up at their next auction.

I'm going to hatch their eggs for the table. I'm gonna try this meat duck experiment if it kills me. I have to find out which is better between them and the Pekin.

not only is lass fatty the texture is more griany like beef . I wont be doing any butchering until i have duckling right now muscovy are like gold

Uh oh. Musrcovy theft rings and black market ducks. I better start measuring mine for ducky diapers in case if have to keep them safe in my house so nobody steals away with them and forces their labor in a ducky mill :>

I think we are going to be ok as well, When I go out side I call my lil criminials , were still prepard to go on the lam . I was thinking we could all get to gether throw crap in the ocean form our own island muscovy vill ...... Ahhhhh my medication is working.....

I think everyone should have a permit and have to tag what ducks they have (all animals in their care that can mess with wildlife). That way if one gets caught running loose or the person dumps it then that person gets in trouble. That way the rest of us can enjoy our pets. But the government is stupid like that and would rather ruin all our fun.

do you have any ideal the cost of what your saying???
a tracking chip or band , but bands can be removed so it would be a tracking chip, than paper work and if you butcher you would have to show proof .You taling NAIS All over again
I dont know about any one else but I dont need that head ache also last year I had birds stolen while i was in hospital. I would have had to prove they were taken. more paper work. EVERY DISAPERANCE IF A FOX GOT IN AND TOOK ONE YOU WOULD HAVE TO PROVE IT.
People are always going to dump. MUSCOVY are in the liome light right now beacuse of comlpaints in human populated areas. If this wins all dumped domeastic birds would follow. your saying every animal would be chipped . NO THANKS

This is sad. Does this mean they will capture already wild Muscovies? Or will they be killed? If so I'm going to rush to the park here in town and save them all!

People created this problem by dumping than feeding, and protecting with no one taking ownership. What happens if you feed and take care of mixed sex animals they breed and increase .
now they have too many . Ive been talking to friends in florida they say the birds are not feral but very tame begging for feed and following you. When i lived in michigan, The local park had a program with us 4-Hers. in the winter we took home the pond waterfowl and in the spring we returned them .in those days people enjoyed feeding ducks at the park.

to answer you yes they will be removed, Being killed is not postive.

Wild muscovy will not be touched. Its the feral or tame ones that have no owner.
