I have a female muscovy who has had a sudden obsession with eggs. She knows when im going out to check for them. She doesn't try to sit on them though. She tries to stab them and eat them. Could she have gotten a taste of a broken egg and is now ruined? Help

They do like to eat eggs. Duck eggs are pretty tough.
Does she have oyster shell available? My ducks are all about eating shells (when I break an egg), but they just want it for calcium needs. I've never had a duck that was an egg eater, but she might be missing some nutrients in her diet.
What does she normally eat?

I fill a dish with oyster shell, they get chicken layer feed, scratch grains, plenty of fresh veggies each day as a treat, occasionally meal worms and corn.

You could cut back and just feed the layer feed and offer the oyster shell as all of the other offerings are "treats".
She might be seeking out some nutrients since the other stuff will negate some of the benefits of feeding only feed.
Treats should be limited to 1 tablespoon per bird per day.
I only feed treat foods once or twice a week.

I didn’t know oyster shells were good for ducks as well. I’ve just been mixing brewers yeast into their food.
I’ve had the females since Dec, and just got the male 2 days ago.
Although, anytime we eat eggs, I keep the shells and let them dry out then I crush the egg shells into almost powder and mix that in with their food as well.
