Muscovy Color Question

This young Drake is three months old and off of a chocolate Drake and black hen. I have read that the ripple gene dilutes their color; with that being said, would he be considered a black ripple or a blue ripple? Him and a light tan ripple hen are the only ripples that we have had hatch so far.

Regardless of color, he's beautiful and he's staying around. I would just like to know what to refer to him as.

He is quite stunning, and I would say a BLACK ripple, as any females would be chocolate.

I’ve read through most of that site but just got a tad bit confused in what the colors look like when the ripple gene is thrown into the mix. This is the chocolate ripple of the same hatch

Yeah, I unfortunately don't have any experience with Ripple as I haven't found it around here. I still stand by the Black I quoted earlier though as per the genetics of the parents.
