Muscovy colors... Pic. heavy (new pics. post 7)

What are all the colors? Is there a website or something that will tell me this & show colors. I'm trying to figure out the colors of my ducklings... looks like I got 4 different colors in my 2 hatches from my lil muscovy flock.

i would say the the two on the left are black/white, then white, then i'm not sure of the last one. i'm in australia and we dont have chocolate colour birds here, but to me it looks like a darker version of our "bronze" colour. all the ducklings are "wild type" too. thats the best i can help you with, i'm only newish to mussies so if i'm wrong i'm sure i'll be corrected!

Thank You... I have a black/white drake & hen, a white hen, then 2 gray or blue/white drakes (dont know if their called gray or blue?). These are some of their hatchlings.

hi, grey or gray isn't an actual colour in the muscovy standard. they could be blues or even silver? if the duckling on the end turns out chocolate then both the parents must be carrying that gene. i like how that happens, i'm trying to get all my birds carrying the bronze gene, lets you have lots of different coloured babies! you'll have to research chocolate genetics i dont know much about them, i think they are sex linked somehow

I was wondering if the brown/yellow ones are gonna be chocolates, I've been wanting some chocolates... if they are then alot hatched out that color. I'm still new to duck world, got my 1st Muscovy ducklings last summer.

Hey Jen,
It looks like you have 2 Blacks, a White(that might be a blue spot on it's head) & a Chocolate. They are awfully cute, I have one right now that is white with a small blue spot on it's head, it looks so out of place with the rest!

Hello & Thanks Bleenie. I only got 1 white out of 16 hatchlings. Heres some more pics. To me some look black, some blue (is that what the grey are called?) & some chocolates.

In pic #1 I see 3 Blues & 2 Chocolates, the rest are black except the white baby of course

Yep, thats what I see too in that pic.
