Muscovy Duck- Angel Wing???

We got three Muscovies at a day old, they are now six weeks and their wings are coming in. I believe we have two females and one male (he is much bigger and has thicker legs and bigger feet). The male has one wing that is drooping outward a little and I am concerned about angel wing. When he stands up and flaps his wing it appears to stretch out normally, but when he is walking around it droops. You can see the blood in his wing and I read that sometimes the wings do droop during development because they are heavy with all the blood flowing to them. The two females seem to be a little further along in their wing development, they have visible wing feathers where as the male does not so much. I am attaching a few photos in hopes that someone can offer up advice as to whether his wing is normal, or if we should consider taping it. He has eaten Dumor Poultry Starter Crumble since we got him, it looks like the protein is 20% on that. Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

Since his pin feathers are starting to come in you might be able to keep the angel wing from getting worse by wrapping. It doesn't look like full blown angel wing but it maybe just developing, the drooping wings are normal as they gain strength to hold them in position once they are completely grown in.https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...how-we-wrap-to-mend-it-pictorial#post_8682154

Thank you for responding! So would you wait a week or so before wrapping to be sure that it is in fact angel wing and not just normal drooping? He will be seven weeks this Friday. We just moved them out to the coop last Friday and they are adjusting nicely, I hate to torture the poor guy with a wrap if it isn't angel wing, but we wouldn't want him to have a deformed wing either. I'm not sure what the window opportunity is on correcting angel wing? Thanks again!

Wrapping the duck is not as traumatic as dealing with full blown angel wing. Its not comfortable but it's not the worst thing in the world. Ducks are very resilient, especally if you spoil them with extra treats.

Very true what seashoreduck says, much better to catch it now since the way the wing is laying it looks like it could be the beginning of angle wing not just normal drooping. usually after wrapping maybe 3-5 days unwrap it doesn't take long to fix. if it is still sticking out some wrap again and wait another 3 days .

I'm wondering if my little one is getting angel wing or if her wing dings are normal. I took this last night, maybe someone can tell before she gets the pin feathers.
