Not moving isn't a great sign Can you gently touch the duckling through the membrane? If it's alive, it should respond to that and move.

It externally pipped today! But it has not yet poked the inner membrane but i can hear it chirping then it suddenly stops... Yet the shell has fallen off, here is a picture

Oh, okay! That's better, I thought you meant you could physically see the beak and it wasn't moving.

You can make a hole in the membrane there if you want, maybe just big enough so you can see inside a little bit.

How do i know if it gets shrinkwrapped? When will the duckling zip from the shell? @Pyxis.... Is it also okay that i removed the cover of the incubator?

The beak is moving right now and i can see it's feathers and it's body breathing, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS SHRINKWRAPPED BECAUSE IT DOES NOT ZIP THE SHELL EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY POKE A LARGE HOLE IN THE PIPPED AREA WHERE THE BEAK IS!!
